Patina Patina PatinaMiller was the principal actor in Stephen's famed 1973 musical "Pippin" on Broadway. Diane Paulus won the Tony Award in the 67th Annual Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical. "Pippin" which was a musical with Matthew James Thomas with Andrea Martin, Terrence Man, Matthew James Thomas as well director Diane Paulus. Patina changed the role of Ben Vereen. She is a Tony Award-winning actor. She also mastered Fosse's movements which are so essential to the musical. Patina was nominated to receive a Tony Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award as well as a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award. In addition, she was awarded an award for a Drama League Award as Best Actress for of a Leading Role and an Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Actress for a musical. Her previous roles included the one of the Lead Player in the American Repertory Theater production of "Pippin" from the month of December 2012 through January 2013. Miller made her Broadway debut in the 2011 Broadway season as the gutsy nightclub-singer-turned-nun "Deloris Van Cartier" in the stage adaptation of "Sister Act", which earned her first Tony nomination, as well as Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for her performance.
