Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America who has garnered fame for portraying Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom". Calvano is a native of California initially was interested in competitive gymnastics. She later decided to pursue a career acting. Her screen debut came in 2010 in a segment of CBS show "NCIS,". One year later, her first big-screen appearance was in the biographical crime movie J Edgar. Through the years, she's proven herself as one of the most promising actors in the field. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series Guest-starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. The actress was also nominated 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest star on the comedic show of Disney XD "Kickin' It". Calvano was part of the cast of Mom for its first three seasons, and also appeared numerous times during the fourth. In 2015, she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
